The
University Advising Center was founded in 1990 to help meet the needs of
lower division (freshmen and sophomores) students at the University of West
Florida (UWF). The Advising Center is dedicated to provide students with
accurate and correct detailed information concerning academic and career
planning. Advisors assist students in defining and developing realistic
educational goals and assist students in understanding the relationship between
academic preparation and the professional world. These tasks are taken seriously
so students can realize the maximum educational benefits that UWF has to
offer.
The Advising Center is located in Building 18 on the main campus of the
University of West Florida in Pensacola. Office hours are from 8:00 am -
5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Advisor meetings are by appointment only.
